My Daily Life

I am a stay at home mom of four amazing kids, so you can imagine how full my day is. Here is an example of my daily routine: Morning- get up, get kids up, make breakfast. Take boys to school, and drop off. Come home, clean house for about 3 hours while tending to the girls. Make lunch. Give girls a bath. Lay Gwen down for a nap. Try to get as much sewing done as possible while Gwen is napping while Fallon sits and sings along to the music playing on my radio in my sewing room. Finish up what I'm doing, Gwen wakes up from nap, get girls ready to go get boys from school. Come home, help boys with homework. Get dinner going. Husband gets home, serve dinner. Family talks about they're day with each other, and sometimes a wrestling match between all the kids against dad and mom has to break it up, then boys get a bath. Then watch t.v. for a while together. Time for kids to bush teeth and get ready for bed. Even though I'm exhausted, I go down stairs once again to sew as much as possible, finish up. Come up stairs spend some alone time with husband, feed our huge presa canario, Bella. Make up her bed, brush teeth, go to sleep. Wake up the next day and do it all over again. This is my daily life, and it sounds crazy, but I love it and wouldn't want to change it for anything. I love my family!

The New Year 2010

The new year has started and I'm so excited about all the new things that I will be making. I'm working on a lot of different interesting things that will be in my future blog posts. For right now I have listed this corset and skirt set, for sale in my etsy shop. I am going to be trying to list as many as 2 new items a week in my etsy shop so my customers have a lot of different options. I've been doing a lot of custom orders that include a wedding dress, spring dress, dolls, and Chun Li oxtails. Pictures will be uploaded by next week, for a few of the projects. Looking forward to my upcoming sales. Happy New Year everyone!

Hooded fleece sweatshirt

I made this sweatshirt for my oldest son Clifford. He picked out the fleece. This sweatshirt has front zipper closure, fully serged and sewn seams, double fold fleece bias tape on hood and front hemming and in pockets. Can't wait for him to get home so he can see it and try it on!
